Southwest Bank, located in Belleville, Illinois was constructed in 1998. Cast Stone is represented on the building by base panels, cornice, columns, soffit, banding, fascia, coping, and building name panels.

Cast stone was only $9,000 more than EIFS. When the client was presented with the choices, there was little question that cast stone was the best value. On a $3 million building, the small cost difference between EIFS and cast stone, compared with the increased durability, longevity, and lower maintenance of cast stone made it an easy decision to select cast stone over the less durable foam board-based EIFS.
